This Simple Makeup Hack Will Blow Your Mind!
This simple makeup hack is the easiest way I’ve found to get the smokey eye look.
You’ll be amazed what you can do with a few items from your makeup back. And it only takes a few minutes!
Tools and materials:
- Black eye pencil
- Brown eye shadow
- Metallic gold eye shadow
- Black mascara
- Blending brushes (optional)
Upstyle Recommends!
1. Waterline
Use a soft black eye pencil on your upper and lower waterline.
2. Smudge
Put some more on your upper lid.
Before it dries, quickly blend it out with your finger.
3. Set
Set it with some brown eye shadow, blending it up to and into your crease.
4. Glitter
Add a smudge of gold metallic shadow in the center of your eye lid.
Blend it out to cover the brown eye shadow, but keep most of the metallic effect in the center.
5. Finish
Apply a few coats of black mascara to your upper and lower lashes.

How stunning is this?
I’ve taken some of the metallic shadow under my lower lashes as well, to balance it out. That’s optional though.
I do all the blending with my finger, for speed. Of course you can apply and blend the shadows with a brush, if you prefer.
Experiment with different color tones too. This looks amazing with a purple base, for example.
