Tools and materials:
- Tail comb
- Hair ties
- Hair elastics
1. Make a middle part and separate the front
Make a middle part with a tail comb. Separate the front section of hair, pulling it in front of your face and tie it temporarily with a hair tie.
2. Make 2 small ponytails on each side
On 1 side of the part, section off a small group of hair with the tail comb and tie a ponytail.
Repeat on the other side.
3. Make a short braid
Remove the temporary ponytail in the font, split the hair into 2 equal parts and separate a face-framing strand on 1 side.
Then braid the hair on that 1 side until it reaches the top of your ear. Tie it off with a hair elastic.
Pinch and pull the braid to add volume.
4. Pull the ponytail through
Then, make a small opening above the elastic with your fingers. Pull the ponytail through that opening.
5. Repeat on side 2
Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the other side. Here’s the final look:
