You don’t have to be a ballet dancer to enjoy the balletcore style.
Here, I’m going to show you how to create a beautiful braided high bun which has ballet style written all over it. Let me show you what to do.

Tools and materials:
- Hair gel
- Hairbrush
- Comb
- Hair ties
- Elastic
- Bobby pins
- Hairspray
- Toothbrush
1. Apply gel to top of hair
First, apply a generous amount of hair gel to the top of your hair and smooth it in.
2. Tie high ponytail
Next, brush the hair into a sleek, high ponytail.
Brushing the hair will help the gel to disperse throughout the hair.
3. Apply gel to bottom of hair
Now that your hair is tied up, apply gel to the bottom of your hair beneath the hair tie.
4. Comb hair
Comb your hair to make it extra neat and sleek.
5. Retie ponytail
Retie the ponytail to incorporate all of the hair that you combed to the top of your head.
6. Make a braid
Now, braid the ponytail. Tie the end of it with an elastic.
7. Form a bun
Snake the braid around itself at the top of your head to form a bun.
8. Add hair tie
Place a hair tie around the bun to keep it in place.
9. Add bobby pins
Now, add some bobby pins to stop it from wobbling around.
10. Add hairspray
The final step is to spray some hairspray onto a toothbrush and then gently brush that over the hair.
Braided high bun perfect for the ballet style
Here is the finished look. The hair is slicked back, and we have a gorgeous braided high bun at the top of the head.
This has ballet style written all over it, and I hope you’ll give it a try!
