Are you running low on hair ties? Try these super durable and soft on your hair ties. These are really popular on Amazon!

1. Start with a ponytail

Tie your hair into a ponytail using a hair tie. This will keep everything neat and make the braid easier to work with. Proceed to lower the ponytail slightly, just enough to create a small gap above the hair tie.

2. Create the first twist

Using your fingers, part the hair right above the tie to make the gap. Pull your ponytail up and through the gap. This creates the first twist of your fishtail braid.

3. Secure the first twist

Gently pull the braid on either side to tighten and neaten it, making sure it sits evenly.

4. Continue the fishtail pattern

Just below the first twist, create another gap in your hair. Pull the length of your ponytail through this new gap.

Repeat this process: part, twist, and pull through. Work your way down the length of your hair.

6. Secure the end

Continue the same steps until you reach the bottom of your hair. Once you’ve braided all the way down, tighten the hair tie at the bottom to hold everything firmly in place.

Tie a ribbon over the bottom hair tie for a pretty, polished finish.
