4 Ways to Style a Skinny Scarf With a Dress

My long dress is simple and beautiful. It looks great worn just as it is. But when I found a long skinny scarf that matched, it inspired me to come up with four new looks.
Tools and materials:
- Dress
- Long narrow scarf
1. Shoulder drape
My scarf happens to match my dress in color and fabric, but a contrasting one would work just as well.
Fold the scarf in half.
Wrap it around your neck with the fold on one side.
Twist the loop and pass both ends of the scarf through it.
Put one end over your shoulder behind you and let the other end fall in front.
This is one of my favorite looks!
2. Front tie
Put the scarf behind your neck and bring the ends to the front. Make them of roughly equal length.
Loop one end over the other.
Adjust the loop so it falls where it best complements the dress.
Slightly more casual and so easy to do!
3. Cross over drape
Center the scarf at the front of your neck and cross the two ends behind you.
Bring the ends forward over your shoulders and arrange them in front.
This one really flatters a long neck.
4. Cross over tie
To add a little pizazz to the previous look, loop the two ends together in front of you.
How to style a skinny scarf
Arrange the position of the loop to suit the neckline of your dress.
This is the one I’m wearing tonight!
I’m sure you can come up with even more ideas.
