- Hair ties

1. Section your hair into three parts
Start with your hair divided into three sections — one on top and two on the bottom. The one on top should be in the middle.
2. Tie the bottom sections into braids
Do a simple three-strand brand on each of the bottom sections.
3. Twist the top section into a bun
Brush the top section until it’s smooth and twist the section around itself into a bun.
4. Tie it off with a hair tie.

5. Thicken the braid
Pinch and pull at the braid to thicken it and add volume.
6. Wrap the braids around the bun
Criss-cross the two braids and wrap them around the bun.
