Here’s a very easy and cute style to try for summer.
It works well on medium to long hair, with a center or side part.
Use whatever type of hair decoration you like to finish the style.

Tools and materials:Â
- Tail comb
- 2 small hair ties
- Flower hair clips
1. First braid
Part your hair in the center or on one side.
Separate out a two inch wide section of hair near the parting.
Divide the hair into three narrow sections and braid them together.
Make your braid as small and neat as you can.
Secure it a few inches from the end with a hair tie.
2. Second braid
Take small sections of hair from either side of the start of the first braid.
Divide them into three sections and braid them together as before, incorporating the first braid into the first few passes.
Wrap a small hair tie around the second braid.
You now have two separate braids that are linked together at the top.
3. Decorate your hair
I used small flower clips. Try to find something pretty and summery. You only need four or five in total for each side of your hair.
Push the clips into the braids, spacing them out well.
Easy and cute hairstyle for summer
You can repeat the braiding on the other side of your hair, or decorate one side only.
I like to do this with a side part as well, braiding the side with the most hair.
With practice, you can get very fast at this.
