An Easy DIY Upgrade for Your Sneakers
I’m going to show you guys a DIY sneakers hack that will blow your mind.
This is an incredibly simple way to take a simple pair of canvas sneakers from ordinary to adorable. The best part is, you’ll be getting your creative juices flowing with a fun project.

Tools and materials:
- Canvas lace-up sneakers
- Cotton fabric
- Mod Podge
- Paint brush
- Scissors
1. Gather materials
Grab a pair of canvas sneakers. Then get some cotton fabric with a color and pattern you love.
2. Trace the tongue
Remove the laces from your sneakers and pull out the tongue.
Turn the sneaker upside down on your fabric and use the tongue to trace a matching piece of fabric to cover the tongue.
Cut out the fabric.
3. Spread some glue
Get out some Mod Podge and use a paintbrush to cover the tongue with glue.
4. Paste the fabric on
Press the fabric on the tongue and let it dry in place.
Relace your sneakers and you’re all set.
