I wanted to find a way to use these pretty enamelled flowers and think that these lovely sunshine yellow flower heads would make gorgeous summer dangle earrings.

Enamelled flowers

I use round nosed pliers which make fixings of jump rings and pins easy.

Round nosed pliers

I curl a head pin into a little curled hook. First I cut off with normal pliers the head of the pin.

Add yellow flower

I squeeze the fixing tight once I put yellow flower on. Repeat process for the other earring.

Next is the nice design process finding beads to match. I look at so many different colours and types but in the end decide on keeping this yellow and using glass beads.

Adding beads

I close up the head pin into a little loop for the sterling silver earring hook to fix onto. I use the round nosed pliers again to tighten these up and secure firm. It’s just a case of opening putting loop

on the hook and closing tight again. I prefer to use sterling silver ear hooks as they don’t irritate ears.

I’m so happy to see the finished result! They sure are sunny and bright for a summers day!
