How to Do Your Makeup on Vacation

Everyone wants to be that bronzed, glowy girl on vacation with sun-kissed skin.

I think I’ve found the best products to achieve that look.

I’m going to share with you what they are.

Tools and materials: 

• Skin glow serum
• Liquid foundation
• Cream bronzer
• Concealer
• Liquid blush
• Pressed powder
• Powder blush
• Pink and gold eyeshadows
• Lengthening mascara
• Volumizing mascara
• Lipliner
• Pink lip gloss
• Brow pen
• Stippling brush
• Blusher brush
• Fluffy, dense brush
• Eyeshadow brush

1. Skin glow serum

Add a few drops to clean skin and massage it in. It gives my skin a little bronzing and feels just like a serum.

2. Liquid foundation

I apply this with a stippling brush for a gorgeous, glowing look. It really is your skin, but better. 

3. Cream bronzer

I like a bronzer with a slight reddish tone, so it looks like I’m bronzed from the sun.

I use the same brush to apply it to my upper cheek and temple.

4. Concealer

I dab liquid concealer under my eyes and pat it in with a very light touch of my ring finger.

5. Liquid blush

This looks a lot darker on the applicator than it does on the skin. 

It really gives a perfect, sun-kissed look to the high points of my face. 

I blend it in really well for a glowy, natural look.

6. Pressed powder

I buff the powder really well into the back of my hand before applying it with a fluffy, dense brush on to the areas I don’t want to shine too much.

For me, that’s the area directly under my eyes, so it emphasizes the glow on my cheekbones.  

7. Powder brush

I apply it on top of the liquid blush to add a little more pink and a lot more gold.

8. Eyeshadow

I add eyeshadows in shades of pink and gold that pair perfectly with this look.

I apply them with my fingers and blend well.

9. Mascara

I use a simple lengthening mascara followed by a volumizing mascara.

I’ve found this combination is striking without looking too heavy.

10. Brows

If you must fill in your brows, go for a very natural look.

11. Lips

I go for a creamy lipliner in a natural shade.

Then I fill it in with a pink gloss.

Even though I’ve used a lot of products, the final look is very natural.

That’s down to using shades that are all in the same color spectrum and blending them really well.
