Testing Viral Trend of Using Calamine Lotion as a Makeup Primer

Do you remember when using calamine lotion as a face primer went viral?
Today, I’m testing that viral trend with pink calamine and I’m trying it out on my face!
Tools and materials:
- Calamine lotion
 - Foundation

The first thing I did was use the brush to apply the calamine lotion to my face. It is a bit messy to apply but I applied it all over.
Then, I let it dry. This hack also reminds me of the recent trend of applying foundation over a white base.
Once it dried, I applied my foundation over top of it.
This is an up-close view of a no-filter makeup application. It shocks me how well it works!
Here I have a patch from where I didn’t apply the calamine lotion very evenly, so make sure you do.
Calamine lotion as a makeup primer
This isn’t something you should do every day, but once in a while, try calamine lotion as your makeup primer to get the foundation finish of your dreams.
Let me know what you think of this hack down below. Will you try it?
