You can't beat a classic cocktail dress and I love anything with ruching detail as it's so flattering for women with hourglass figures. It's such a simple, chic design and works really well in all seasons, but I especially love it dressed up for summer with these more casual accessories. You don't want to pair heels with an elegant dress like this - it can be a bit too much and look like you're trying too hard. The flats dress it down nicely.

I can't resist another drinks and dancing outfit! They're the most fun after all. I love dresses with cut-out detail at the waist because it's a more unique alternative to belting everything I wear, which can get uncomfortable and isn't always the look I want to go for! I do like to show off my waist though and cut-out details are a great way to do that. Plus it looks sexy, which is great for a date!

I've paired the dress with some low heels as I don't think many of us like to wear stilettos all night anymore. I love how silver jewellery looks against black, I think it really stands out, so I've worn a delicate crystal necklace as well.
