6 WAYS TO STYLE PAREO

Did you know that you can wear your wrap-around skirt in multiple different ways? It’s way more than just a skirt.

So follow along and learn how to style a wrap skirt in six different ways.

Tools and materials:

• Large wrap skirt

1. Basic wrap skirt

Start all of these wrap skirt styles with a large wrap skirt that has integrated wrap ties at the top corners.

Wrap the skirt around your waist from front to back, and then to the front again.

Tie a knot in front, and then wrap the ties to your back.

Then, tie a large bow at the back.

That’s your basic wrap-skirt style.

Layer on a coordinating blazer for a more polished look.

2. Angled side-wrap

For this wrap style, tie the skirt at one side of your body.

Then wrap the ties around to your back and make a bow.

This also creates a great look that you can layer a blazer over.

Notice the angled hem that results from wrapping the skirt from side to side, rather than front to back.

3. Straight-hemmed side wrap

Wrap your skirt from back to front.

Tie it at the side.

Now, your hem is straight.

4. Wrap a dress

Wrap your dress from back to front, with one side larger than the other.

Then, bring the corner on the larger side up and over your opposite shoulder.

Bring the shoulder tie down your back and around your waist on the opposite side.

And tie it at the side of your waist, opposite the wrapped shoulder.

5. Halter wrap dress

Wrap your dress from back to front at your waist, and knot the ties about halfway down the ties, or where needed for a well-fitting halter.

Slip the halter over your head.

Now, wrap the dress over at the front, and secure it with a wide coordinating belt.

6. Another halter wrap style

Wrap your dress from back to front, and criss-cross the ties at the front.

Twist the ties a couple of times for an eye-catching look.

Then, tie it at the back of your neck.
