Tools and materials:
- Folding umbrella
- Silk scarf
- Scarf ring
1. Fold a Triangle
Start by folding your large silk scarf into a triangle.
2. Wrap Folded Umbrella
Place the point of the triangle at the center of your closed umbrella and roll it until you run out of scarf to wrap with.
3. Tie 2 Knots
With the excess fabric on one end, tie a tight knot right up against the end of the umbrella. Then repeat this on the other side.
4. Attach a Scarf Ring
About a fist length after 1of the knots, attach your scarf ring tightly with another secure knot.
Then pull the other end of the scarf through the other side of your scarf ring and knot it in place.
Slide this scarf umbrella purse over your actual purse and you’re ready to brave the rain in style!

Gonna try it, thanks!
Hmmm. Do you have to stand there and untie the ties and rings to get to the umbrella? If so, what if all of a sudden it starts raining? I'd rather stick my umbrella in my purse
