Adorable Way to Style a Scarf and Flap Bag
Your flap bag is a great accessory. But you can take it up a notch: with this great style tip, you can accessorize your accessories!
Tools and materials:
- Handbag with a flap-front closure
- Square scarf
1. Fold your scarf
Start with a square scarf, folded into a triangle.
Now, fold your scar over lengthwise three or four times.
You want to end up with a long rectangle.
2. Attach your scarf to your bag
Open the flap of your bag, and place the scarf right across the hinges on the inside of the flap.
Close the flap.
Pull the ends of your scarf through the hardware loops on your bag (where the handles are attached).
3. Tie the scarf
Now, tie the ends of your scarf into a knot.
You want the scarf to be taught, but not so tight that it pulls on your bag.
