  • Small rubber band
  • Scissors

1. Prepare your ribbon

Fold your ribbon to the size you will want it to be once completed.

Then fold it again.


The length of your ribbon will depend on the size of the brooch you are pairing it with.


I’m going to use this with a fairly large brooch, so I’m using six inches of ribbon, folded twice to two inches.

Now, trim the end off your ribbon, cutting on an angle.

2. Make a bow

Pinch the center of your folded ribbon to get the bow shape.

Now, loop your rubber band around the center to hold your bow shape in place.

3. Add your brooch

Place the bow against your jacket.

Now, pin your brooch onto your jacket right through the center of the bow.
