1. Wrap Bottles with Plastic Wrap

Don’t let your shampoo or lotion ruin your holiday wardrobe! Unscrew the cap, place a small piece of plastic wrap over the opening, and screw the cap back on.

Dryer sheets are a game-changer for fresh-smelling luggage

2. Use a Pill Organizer for Jewelry

Those delicate necklaces and earrings love to play hide-and-seek in your luggage. Keep them neat and tangle-free by storing them in a weekly pill organizer. Bonus: it’s compact and easy to pack!

3. Keep Shoes Fresh with Dryer Sheets

Pop a dryer sheet into each shoe before packing to keep them smelling fresh (and your suitcase, too). It’s a small touch that makes a big difference, especially after a long day of holiday walking tours.

Binder clips: the travel hero you never knew you needed

4. Use Binder Clips to Protect Razor Blades

Avoid accidental cuts and keep your razor blade sharp by snapping a binder clip over the head. Simple, effective, and reusable!

Packing vertically makes unpacking a breeze—see everything in one glance!

5. Pack Clothes Vertically in Your Suitcase

Instead of folding clothes flat in your suitcase, roll them up and stack them vertically. This not only saves space but also allows you to see everything at a glance without tearing your bag apart.

I also like packing my clothes into cubes by type, so that I know exactly where my pants and tops are

6. Bring a Power Strip

Between phones, tablets, and other devices, there are never enough outlets in hotel rooms. Pack a small power strip, and you’ll have all the charging ports you need for yourself (and maybe even your travel companions).

If you take a prescription drug it should remain in bottle. First, if you were to run out or drop some you could go to drug store with bottle and have them call Dr. & Ins. for a few extra until you get home. Should you be taking a controlled substance drug, you might need the bottle to prove it is yours & you did not buy or are selling. While pill cases are handy at home and I do use one for traveling, I carry the bottles too. I have been asked what was in case & they opened the case, luckily, I had the bottles to prove I take them.

I take pictures of all my prescription bottles. Doesn’t take up room in my bag. I can then pack my pill dispenser and not worry about any medicine missing. I’d know right away. Still have prescription # should I need it and my regular bottles are at home.

Has anyone ever found a pill organizer that doesn't pop open when you take it anywhere (no matter what you put in it)? I haven't.
