I love the designs on the old vintage crockery and this little saucer centre looks to be just the right size and pattern for my pendant necklace creation.

Want to make your own jewelry? These bestseller pliers are a great help with jewelry projects!

These empty metal bezels often can be bought with a chain in a set or pack and they make the jewelry making easy.

I start by cutting the saucer in such a way as to try and salvage the center piece. Wheeled tile nippers make it an easy task. Always wear eye goggle glasses for protection.

Wheeled tile nippers

I cut the ceramic flowers out and then bible around the edges with tile nippers to get nearer to the shape needed.

Nibbling

I use a piece of paper to make a template so I know exactly what size to cut to.

Template

I draw around the template to capture the best composition then smooth the edges to fit exactly using a mini sander.

Sander

I glue the ceramic into the bezel using two part epoxy resin . This is super for holding it from and dries very fast. Once it’s dry and secure I Thread the chain on and it’s good to wear!

Glue into bezel

Love the result!
