Tools and materials:
- Alligator clip
- Clear, hair elastic
- Claw clip
1. Part your hair and clip up one side
Start off with a center part. Then roll up one side of the hair and clip it out of the way.
2. Make small French braids on each side
On the other side, grab a small section of hair and split it into 3 pieces. Begin braiding the strands.
After each cross, add a bit more hair only to the top piece.
Continue braiding like this until you reach the back of your head. Clip the braid temporarily and repeat on the other side.
3. Join the braids
Join the braids behind your head with a clear, hair elastic, leaving some space between the elastic and your head.
Pinch and pull the sections of the braids for volume.
Then flip the tail from underneath, into the space you left in front of the elastic, pulling it only halfway to make a small bun.
4. Add a claw clip
Secure underneath the bun with a claw clip. Here’s the final look:
