Clipping nails

1. Clip your nails

This step might seem counterintuitive, but you’ll want to start with a fresh and unbroken canvas.

If any of your nails are split or uneven, clip them to size so you have a strong start. This is also the perfect time to shape them as you like.

Applying lemon to nails

2. Rub your nails with lemon or lime

Lemons and limes are both high in vitamin C which is a crucial nutrient for growing strong and healthy nails.

These citrus fruits also help remove any discoloration and brighten your nails.

Applying garlic to nails

3. Apply a garlic and oil mask

Mince a single clove of garlic into a bowl and mix it with a bit of olive oil to create a nail mask. Massage this mask on your nails.

Garlic contains nutrients that can help strengthen your nails, and olive oil helps moisturize your nails and cuticles to promote healthy growth and development.

Soaking nails

4. Soak your nails in a salt bath

Soak your nails in a water and salt bath for five minutes.

A salt bath helps both strengthen brittle nails and remove dry, dead skin cells from the cuticles and nail bed.

How often do I have to do it, before I can see growth

Just remember to be sure no open cuts or sores on fingers etc before trying this- painful. Also do not over soak in saltwater - can make nails too soft. Salt sucks moisture out of things.
