Check out this hack to give a simple, inexpensive watch some personality! This is so easy, that you can actually create lots of different watch styles from one watch face.
Tools and materials:
1. Choose a watch face
Pick up an inexpensive watch, and don’t pay any attention to the band. Just make sure you like the watch face.
2. Pick out a bracelet
Now, head to the costume jewelry and pick out a bracelet (or tow, or three). Make sure to get ones with clasp closures, not elastic.
Also, pick up a package of extra rings and clasps.
3. Replace your watch band
Start by cutting the band off your watch.
Now you can work with the watch face, and the bars that held the old band.
Open the clasp on the bracelet.
Use needle-nose pliers to open the ring on the bracelet clasp.
Slip on a larger ring from the package you bought.
Now, slip that ring over the watch strap bar, and use your pliers to tightly close the ring.
For the other side, simply attach the clasp to the other watch band bar.
Now you have a really personalized watch.
Customized wristwatch
Just think of how many different ways you can style your watch now! You’ll have a new watch for every occasion!

Ridiculous..looks cheap that watch face will hang crooked and is too heavy for that chain🤣
Better ways to attach for a sturdier fit. Was replacing my watch bands in 1970s when in 9th grade- ribbons, colorful elastics- pretty much anything I could scavenge. Still works today- especially with older costume jewelry, beads...
