For comfort and a great fit try these bra clips! This 12-pack comes in 3 colors and 4 shapes and Amazon reviewers swear by it.

Most of us are taught to put the bra on by clasping it in the front then sliding the clasp around to your back and picking up the straps and putting it on.

THIS IS SO WRONG!!!!

Most of your bra's support comes from the band and doing this tugs and stretches it which is a big no. Also you take the risk of messing up any wiring that may be in the cups of the bra.

The correct way to put on a bra is by putting your arms through the straps first and reaching your arms back and clasping the middle.

Why clasp on the middle hook?

Because when the band starts to stretch out you can go to the tightest hook and on days when you're feeling a little bloated you can move to the last hook.

Hooking in back and bending forward and allowing breasts to fall into cups is the way I was taught by my mother. And that’s 62 years ago. Yes, it is harder to clasp in back as I have gotten older so I just still hook in back but with the bra on top of my breasts, then pull down and let them fall Into cups. I’ve never been able to figure out the front clasping, turn around system.

This was shown to me about 50 years ago by a lady whho owned a fashion store.....put your arms through the straps, bend forward and and reach around the back and hook before you stand up. It has worked for me since then.....50 some years ago

Thats all fine, well, and good, but I have rheumatoid Arthritis and I CAN'T put my arms behind me!

I lay the bra on the bed, reach on each side and pull it around.

Everyone has their own way of doing things and there isn't just ONE right or wrong way to do something. Everyone has to find their own way.

I absolutely agree with you! It's nice to learn new ways of doing something you have done all your life-but everyone has to find what's best for them. I too have RA for the last 35 yrs. Life with RA changes everyday. I also have had breast cancer and so now I have a "silicone boob" I have to deal with. It's extremely hard to find bras that fit and feel or not look lopsided. Through my insurance I can get three new bras every three months. I have never taken advantage of that, maybe every year but I just decided to try a front zipping bra. So much easier than trying to clasp it behind yourself. Yes, it is a sports bra but, oh the comfort is worth it!!
