Super EASY Beginner Friendly Way to Upcycle Your Old T-shirts!

Hey guys! I’m so excited to show you this super easy, beginner-friendly way to upcycle your old t-shirts. It should take you no more than 30 minutes to make.
Tools and materials:
- Old t-shirt
- Scissors or rotary cutter
- Pins
- Sewing machine
1. Cut
Cut off the bottom of the shirt just below the breastbone.
Cut off the sleeves leaving the bottom edges of the shirt open.
Cut a V-neck on the front and back.
2. Fit
For a snug fit on the bottom half of the shirt, pin the sides to fit your body.
Remember to sew with a zig-zag stitch on stretchy T-shirt material. Then cut off the excess fabric.
3. Neckline
Fold over the edge of the front neckline and use a short zig-zag stitch. Gently stretch the material as you go. This will create a wavy shape.
Fold in the front center of the neckline, pin, and sew it down.
4. Bring it all together
Pin the top to the bottom with the right sides facing. Then sew them together, and you’re done!
