Grab a String and Scarf for This Ultimate Summer Look
If you are looking for a new way to wear a fashion scarf, then grab a string and try this scarf top DIY for the ultimate summer look!Â
Tools and materials:
- Large, square fashion scarf
- Long shoelace or string
1. Fold your scarf
Fold your square scarf into a triangle.
2. Tie your scarf
Tie the two end points of your scarf in a knot.
3. Position your scarf
Slip your scarf over your head, with the knot at the back of your head, and the bottom point of your scarf pointing down at the front of your body.
4. Tie your scarf into a top;
Take a long shoelace or piece of string.
Pass one end of the string under one side of your scarf at the front.
Bring the string around your back.
Pass the same end of the string under the other side of your scarf now.
Roll the top edge of your scarf over the string, to hide the string.
Bring the ends of the string back around your body, and tie them together.Â
Since the string has now wrapped around your body twice, you have this great crisscross pattern at your back.
What a great-looking halter scarf top you have created!
