Wow! Turn Pantyhose Into Your Next Favorite Top
Did you know that you can turn your basic pair of pantyhose into a gorgeous and sexy top?
Follow along with this quick tutorial to find out how to turn your old tights into your next favorite crop top!
Tools and materials:
- Pantyhose
- Scissors
1. Cut your neckline
Start by cutting a hole here, which will become the neckline.
Remember, it doesn’t need to be so big since the material is stretchy.
2. Cut off the toes
Next, cut off the toe areas. These will become the ends of the sleeves.
3. Wear it like a top
Gently pull the newly formed top over your head, being careful not to rip the delicate fabric.
4. Cut hole details
Next, make small snips on each sleeve, from below the shoulder all the way down to the ends of the sleeves.
5. Make twists
Next, take the upper “string” and twist it with the hole below it.
Repeat this all the way down to the last hole.
6. Pull the last “string” around your finger
Once you’ve reached the last part, pull the string over your middle finger. It’s a cool detail and it will keep everything in place.

Another hack using hose. HAIR TIES. Cut the hose legs crosswise every 3 inches or so, creating several “tubes” of hose fabric. Grab one, gathering it to make it ropey. There you have it.
These hair ties are really stretchy, giving multiple looping abilities for finer hair without feeling nubbly. They stay in place because of the nature and weave of the nylon. Very soft , very comfy, especailly it night if you have to tie back long hair. They last for ever!!
