1. Get in line

Use the bottom half of the tweezers as the guide for the top half of the wing. To figure out the placement, imagine a line going up from the pupil towards the highest point of the socket.

Imagine a second line going perpendicular to the highest point. That will be your top line.

2. Top line

Take an angled eyeliner brush and some brown eyeshadow, and use the tweezers to help you create a straight edge. This will give you a rough shape.

3. Lower line

For the lower line, you can use the end of the tweezers and line it up at the outer corner of the eye, angling it to meet the top line.

Use the angled brush to connect the lines and create the shape of your wing. Then fill in that space.

Drag the brush towards the eyelid, making a gradient for a soft finish.

Use the brush to start lining the lashes as well.

4. Eye shimmer

Use your finger to apply some gold shimmer to the center of the eyelid.

Start in the middle, blending first inward and then outward. The gradient that we made from the wing blends perfectly with the glitter, so next extra blending is needed.

5. Highlight

Take a small pencil brush and apply some shimmery white eyeshadow at the inner corner of the eye for a bit of highlight. Pull it down along the lower lid as well.

6. Sharpen the wing

Use a flat brush with a little bit of concealer and use it along the bottom line of the wing to sharpen that edge. Start at the edge and blend downwards to conceal it into the skin.

Take the angled eyeliner brush with the brown eyeshadow and use it to create a subtle corner around the inner eye.

Use what’s left on the brush to start lining the lower lashes.

7. Eyeliner and mascara

Color in the water lines softly with a brown eyeliner pencil.

Curl your lashes and apply mascara to the top and bottom lashes. If you want to enhance your lashes, put mascara primer on the top lashes before you put on mascara.

8. Soften the upper line

This step is optional. If you like the sharp top edge of the wing, you can skip this step. To soften the top line, you can go in with a pencil brush.

Use a back-and-forth motion to soften the line without erasing it. If you need to, clean up the bottom line with the flat brush and concealer.
