Scarf Hack for an Oversized Blazer
Hey guys. I’m going to show you my favorite scarf hack for an oversized blazer. This is such an innovative way to wear these classic pieces together.
Tools and materials:
- Oversized blazer
- Silk scarf
1. Safety pin
Start by putting a safety pin on the inside of your blazer, just past the button.
2. Creating a silk flower
Take a silk scarf and fold it in half, making a triangle.
Take the bottom corners on the open side and tie those two corners together with a small knot.
Hang the knotted corner on one arm.
Use the opposite hand to take one of the corners, go through the opening, grab the other corner, and pull it back through the opening.
Now take those corners and wrap them around each other once.
Then take one corner and slip it through the opening under the knotted corners.
3. Attach it to the blazer
Pull both ends, creating a bulb of silk in the center.
Pull one end through the line of the safety pin on the jacket. Tie it on.
Pull the other end through the button hole and pull it all the way through.
Tie both ends together under the fabric flower.
