How to Tie a Rope Belt Like a Pro
Somewhere between resort wear and the runway, the rope belt became the trendy accessory of the season.
Follow along while I show you how to tie a rope belt, even if you know nothing about nautical knots!
Tools and materials:
- Basic rope belt
1. Wrap the rope belt
Start by wrapping the rope belt around your waist from back to front.
2. Tighten the belt
Slide the two ends of the rope belt through the hardware and tighten the belt around your waist.
3. Secure the belt
Place two fingers under the ends of the belt that have gone through the hardware..
Wrap the ends of the belt around your fingers and pull them back up through the back of the belt.
Remove your two fingers and pull the ends of the belt through the loop that your fingers had made.
How to tie a rope belt like a pro
Then, just pull to tighten and you’re done. It’s that easy! All you need to start rocking your rope belt is this simple knot.
