Elegance in a Knot: Belt Bag
This is the perfect hack for making your own belt bag. There’s no sewing involved, and it can be done quickly and easily. I bet you’ve never thought to use your silk scarf like this.
Upstyle Recommends!
1. Put on your belt
Put on a belt. I put my belt on over a fitted blazer.
2. Tie the corners
Take two corners of the scarf and pull them up through the belt.
Take the bottom corner in the front and tie it to the corner pulled through the belt in the front.
Do the same with the back corners.
3. Add your belongings
This is the perfect size pouch for your sunglasses, keys, phone, and wallet.
DIY scarf belt bag
I love this hack for an impromptu, one-of-a-kind bag.

Cute but very easy for a pickpocket to steal whatever you put in this. It’s open and when items are in there it gaps open even more. I know some will say “but I would feel somebody if the trued to take something”. Pickpockets are professionals, they will bump into you and go into your pockets or this scarf thing and you will not know it. Especially with the holidays coming a crossbody bag with a closed zipper is your best protection. Ask the police if you don’t believe me, they are the ones who told me this is a no/no. My neughbor couple are police and they said “this is an open invitation to steal”.
